You know the feeling…. you’re supposed to have the day “off” and enjoy some downtime with your family, but all you can think about is that big project and everything that still needs to get done. You can’t be in the moment and live your life because your business is constantly weighing on you. Have you built a business around your life or life around your business?

Let me just offer you a tiny bit of comfort and tell you that you are not alone. Not by a long shot. Almost every single person who hires me mentions a scenario just like this, but with slightly different details. Why is it that we are SO good at being “on” with our businesses, but not nearly as good at being “on” with our lives?

You’re Spread Too Thin

Time and time again, I’ve found that people come to me when they feel like they’re spread too thin. They know something has to change, but they’re not quite sure what. They feel like it’s impossible to grow a business and have a life at the same time. They’ve thought about hiring more people, investing in new technology, and even raising their prices to weed out some of their customer base!

These are all good ideas, but in my opinion, these things are only temporary fixes. If all goes well, you’ll soon find yourself in the exact same position a few months down the road. Once again, there will be too much work for you to handle on your own. You’ll be back to pulling all-nighters, desperate to find the right people and software to keep you from drowning again. This kind of cycle is exhausting, and it can be enough to scare a once motivated entrepreneur back to the comforts of a traditional 9 to 5 job.

One Word: Strategy

Think of the people who are most important to you. When’s the last time you took time off from your work to really show up for them? When’s the last time you chaperoned a field trip or spent the morning having a slow brunch with a good friend? If the thought of doing something like this gives you anxiety, it’s time to talk about creating a strategy for success.

Over the years, I’ve found that a good strategy is what most overextended business owners really need more than anything. You need a plan of action and some air-tight systems to optimize all the various aspects of your business.

The Freedom to Live Your Life

My main goal is to help you find more freedom so you can live your life. You started your business with the goal to have more balance in your day to do the things you love. I know that even though you currently feel dragged down by your business, the right strategy — and a really great accountability plan — can finally set you free.

I want to help you simplify your business so you can live a happier and more fulfilling life. The best part? I can help you do it, so you don’t have to take on any additional stress, work, or time commitments. All you have to do is prepare yourself to finally get that freedom you’ve always dreamed about but never gave yourself.
